Chris E. Young from Commissioner Young:
"I believe that my job as County Commissioner is to
give every Columbia County resident the best quality of life within the resources that are
available.
If we (the commissioners) can make a positive difference to
the people of this county, then I believe our term will be a success."
Before taking office as commissioner, Chris was employed by
Magee Rieter Automotive Systems. His many interests include baseball coaching and
umpiring, along with all aspects of hunting and trapping, He resides in Fishing
Creek Township, with his wife Pam, and daughter Emily. |

William Soberick
Bill first took office as County Commissioner January 1, 1992.
He resides in Berwick with his wife Lois. Their family includes daughters Kim,
Kristi, Kellie, and Karen.Bill has a wide range of
experience in local government and civic organizations:
- Served 12 years on the Berwick Area School Board
- Served 4 years on Berwick Borough Council
- Served 5 years on the Columbia County Housing and
Redevelopment Authority
- Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit
- Salvation Army Advisory Board
- Past United Way Chairman
- Jaycees
- Past President of Berwick Chamber of Business and Industry
