The Columbia County GIS viewer was released January 28, 2004. This is a work in progress - functionality, colors, data layers, etc., may change without notice. Your patience is appreciated as this website is developed.

Parcel data is current as of June 30, 2008. The digital orthophotography (aerial photography) was captured in the spring of 2005. (The 2001 orthophotography is also available.)

The parcel data shown is for illustrative purposes only, and is not suitable for site specific decision making. The data presented is from a variety of sources, and is not consistent with all surveying and engineering standards. Boundary lines were interpreted from aerial photography and existing county records.

NOTE: This site uses pop-up windows for database searching and parcel information. You must allow popup windows for this site, or functionality will be severely impaired.

PLEASE NOTE: Those on dial-up/56k connections will experience long sessions waiting for the graphic to appear. Each time the viewer is adjusted, the graphic picture must be regenerated by the server, and transmitted to the user. These images vary from 50-150 kilobytes, and will take approximately 25 seconds to transmit over a 56k dial-up connection.
