The Columbia County
Treasurer's Office is an issuing agent for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bonded to
sell dog, fishing, hunting, and temporary boat licenses.
All of these licenses may be obtained by
applying in person at the Treasurer's Office in the courthouse. This office reconciles these
state monies with the PA Department of Agriculture, PA Fish & Boat Commission, PA Game
Commission, and the PA Department of Revenue.
Approximately
26,000 licenses are sold each year; commissions from the sale of these licenses are turned
over to the Columbia County General Fund. |
